25 January 2024. PayAlly was recently admitted as member of the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI). As a non-profit organisation, LCCI is London’s key hub for the business community. They support members’ businesses through a range of services, advocate on behalf of London’s business community in the most important forums of policy debate, and promote ‘Global London’ as the best city in the world to do business – whether that’s to trade, invest, learn, or find new commercial partners.
“We chose London as home of PayAlly for a reason,” CEO Rafal Andzejevski quips. “It is, without a doubt, the best place in the world to start a fintech business. It’s been a financial hub for centuries and has seen the fintech sector grow to new heights, becoming fintech’s European hub. When I started PayAlly, I knew we had to base the company here.”
Andzejevski enumerates a few reasons why:
- Regulatory framework. London sets the global gold standard for regulatory bodies, instilling confidence and stability in the industry.
- Booming tech sector. The city has become a hotbed of innovation, attracting tech giants and disruptive start-ups alike, putting fintech at the forefront of innovation too.
- Independent financial market. London’s legal system and stable political climate provides a perfect environment for businesses to thrive. Few emerging economies are able to replicate this.
James Watkins, LCCI Head of Policy and Public Impact, comments, “We are pleased to welcome PayAlly as one of our latest esteemed members at the Chamber. Their presence is pivotal in addressing the needs of accessing finance for businesses with PayAlly showcasing a pioneering approach towards advancing innovation with the streamlining of access to international commerce. The Chamber looks forward to extending our support to PayAlly in the months and years ahead.”
Chris Dickinson, PayAlly UK Business Development & Partnership Manager and LCCI Relationship Lead: “It is a great pleasure to join the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry which is at the very heart of the London business community. Becoming a member allows us to educate, and more importantly, be educated to evolve our services to best support the community. We look forward to growing our network and helping businesses prosper both at home and abroad.”
